Sea’s  Secrets

Hey, this is this next part in my many parted  saga.  I hope you will like  it.  I am pretty happy with  it.  The Freedom Friends, my  herd, is a strong herd.   Rather then what you may have heard, that Seabiscut is Black Mist’s  brother, is not true. I am an only horse.  Hope you like  it!

Kat decided to tell Sea  about the disturbing dream and the Shadow.  The minute she had saw it she had  fainted.  When she woke up,  the Shadow was gone, but the memory was hanging over her like a Blanket of  snow.   When she had  politely stopped at Sea’s den to ask to have a word with him, she had felt  much better.  Only when she  had finished the whole story, from the Healer’s moment to the faint, and  that includes the Element’s chant, did he speak.  She also remembered what all of  the parts of the riddle were.   She also spoke of that, cutting him off.  She made sure to include she  didn’t know that Fire part.

“Well, Kat, I must say I am not surprised.”  When he had said this, her eyes  felt like they were going to pop out of her head, and her jaw had dropped  like a snake’s.

“You are  destined to do this.”

“To do  WHAT??” she had asked him.

“Only will I tell you when you have figured out what the Fire part  of the omen means.”

Suppressing a sigh, she excused herself out of his den.  She pondered over the Fire Element  omen for the next 8 days. This was a long time to wonder.  What if this meant she was stupid,  or meant for something else??

No, Sea wouldn’t have appointed her Healer if he had thought that  she was not worthy.  But, even  Leaders make mistakes, and what if this was one?  No, she could not think of  that.

Suddenly, it hit  her.  It wasn't when the Fire Dies, it was where the Fire dies.  The Ocean!!  She must tell Sea where she was  going.  She leaped over to his  den, ignoring the strange glances from her Herd mates.

“Sea, I am going to the  Sea.”

This is the second part of the saga, and I really  enjoy writing this.  I hope  you like reading it, too.   Sorry, I have to keep you hanging!
